My new Weekender Bag, made with heavy cotton and brown faux suede, with a cotton blue check lining. This bag has plenty of room with pockets both inside and out. I have even made a matching zip top purse.

This fabulous ipad pillow and pencil case are a custom order I did for a friend who picked this fabric for her teenage niece. Great pick and the fabric sewed up perfectly.

Busy busy busy

I have decided I will apply to attend a couple of our local markets, mothers and baby markets I shall try first.
So I have been very busy trying to get my stock built up. First I had to decide what to make and take, so I firstly went with the roll up market tote( or as my husband said, isn't it a shopping bag???... Yes it is!) 28 almost finished
Secondly I decided that as the markets are targeted at Mothers and babies, I would make my fabulous Nappy clutch/ pouch, which holds at leat 2 nappies and a packet of baby wipes, and includes a waterproof change mat. I have cut out lots of these today
Third choice is my Big nappy bags, I think I may only do a few of these, and maybe take custom orders, I have pics of fabric choices on my Ipad.
Fourth choices are Nursey baskets, the fabric kind. I have designed 2 different styles and will go with them, just have to choose fabrics.
Fifth( is this too many options ??) are my Ipad and Ipad mini pillows, I still have 35 on EBay, so I think that  should be enough.

Something to cheer myself up about

Sick, sick, sick, I am tired of being sick, this awful flu is getting me down.
So to cheer myself up,I made up 2 awesome nursery baskets today, 2 different styles that I have designed and made. I will be doing some markets soon and would like to have a good stock way before it happens. I am going to have my nappy clutches/ pouches, nursery baskets, roll up market bags and of course my Ipad pillows. Hmm is that a weird combo... Yup probably but I'm happy with that.

A few days at home

Oh how nice it is to have a few days at home.  After my house jobs I get to spend time in my sewing room, mind you all I have done in there is pack Ipad Pillows to send off. How awesome is that, yes they are selling on Ebay and I am happy about that.
So this afternoon I cut out lots and lots of Ipad pillow pieces, and have decided that each time I am in my sewing room I have to make up at least 2, so that I am always adding to my stocks. I have a bad habit of selling out then panicking and trying to make up too many at a time.
I am also in the process of making a bathroom set for a very special friend. I finished the fabric basket today and will finish 2 cosmetic bags tomorrow. ... Yes then I will make up at least 2 Ipad pillows...
