I have been looking for a fabulous Backpack for when we travel. The ones I loved on Etsy were expensive and made overseas. I then found this unique pattern by Colette Patterns, the pattern is called Cooper and comes in 3 different versions. The pattern recommends using waxed canvas/cotton as well as Duck Cloth, or canvas. I had a pigskin hide, so along with some Navy Duck I made version2 , the backpack. It's the perfect size and can't wait to take it to Hawaii in December.

Same Fabric Different Bag.
Loved this fabric, I first made a large carryall with it and decided I hated it ..hahaha.. so I deconstructed it made these two smaller ones and loved them. Sometimes it turns out that some prints are perfect for a smaller bag... who knew... well I do now.
The satchel type has lots of pockets 2 external and 3 slip pockets inside it has a substantial flap with a magnetic snap to close. This one is a made to order and I have done quite a few in the style now...and they are quite popular, so I might make up a few more for the market... $35

The other one with a rounded bottom , has darts sewn into the seam with gives it a bit of body, I tried it with the flower.. umm not so sure.. so I took it off, this cute bag is just big enough to store your phone, a small purse and some girl essential, it does not have any pockets and will sell for $25 plus P&H

So after finally finding the perfect design for a bog just for me, it's now time to finish up the 6, yup, 6 nappy bags I have cut.

This one is made with dark purple faux leather and 100% cotton! it has 4 outside pockets, one zip divider pocket inside and one slip pocket inside,it fits all I have plus my Ipad and has a chunky zip to close. The strap is adjustable for wearing over my shoulder or across my body.

So I applied for the Mummas market at Buderim for this Saturday, paid my money, got organized, made more aprons for Mothers Day, and yup they cancelled it.
Anyway, I have applied for the Mummy Tree market at mountain Creek for June, and have applied for a spot at the Caloundra street market.
